Little Miss "G"...I think she is what some might refer to as an "old soul". An inquisitive little girl with just the right dose of charm! She and I had a splendid time sharing stories with one another and what an honor it was when she offered to share her snack with me!

This little peanut is the son of the uber-talented, Tricia Christiansen, the brains behind Christiansen Creative located here in Hudson, Wisconsin. Even though I loved chatting with Tricia, I'd have to say that one of the best parts of this session was seeing just how smitten Dad was with his newborn son.
One of the best parts of my job is hearing the amazing stories behind each of my subjects. I'm a "talker" by nature so it's no wonder I learn so much about the people I photograph during the session. This little dude had quite a story...he made a very early entrance into this world and just one year later it appears as though he's beaten the odds that were stacked against him as a preemie. Now he is a healthy, happy, and curious little boy who I'm sure will keep mom and dad on their toes! Thanks again you guys for traveling in to see me!

'Tis the busiest time of the year that's for sure and it's no wonder with the beautiful fall colors. I haven't had a chance to update my blog as much as I would like, but I hope to be back with regular posts just as soon as things slow down here a bit. Happy Fall!
I can hardly type their names without laughing! This is one couple who had one thing in mind for their wedding...FUN. And fun is what they had. They had us in stitches most of the day. So much so, that at times I could hardly see through my viewfinder. Andrew and Allison, it is so obvious how deeply you both love one another. What a joy it was to be a part of your special day! Thanks for the laughs!

Imagine my surprise when an incredibly talented photographer calls me up last month to ask if I would be willing to come out and photograph not one, but two of her brand new babies! What an honor! The twins arrived early but were perfectly healthy. After a few weeks in the hospital they were finally welcomed home by their adorable big brother who is so very proud of his new title! Congratulations you guys...you have a beautiful family!

Another gorgeous wedding on a semi-overcast day here in the Twin Cities, but I must say...I think it worked to our advantage. The sun was in and out most of the day with a few rain drops here and there, but if that's what it took to get a sky like this then I guess we'll take it. Ha!
